Adopt-A-Block

is a powerful way to uplift children and families in Beaver County—one block at a time. Through this initiative, individuals, families, or organizations can “adopt” a city block of their choice. Sponsors commit to supporting the children who live on that block by taking them shopping for back-to-school supplies. Each child gets the opportunity to pick items that reflect their needs and style. This program is about more than just supplies—it’s about fostering confidence, dignity, and a sense of belonging for every child.

SHAY Foundation Scholarship

In partnership with the Smith-Murray Scholarship Fund, this annual scholarship is awarded to a student living in public housing who is pursuing higher education. The scholarship aims to break cycles of poverty by supporting educational advancement and empowering youth with the resources they need to succeed beyond high school.

SHAY Foundation’s 7th Annual Back to School Bash

Get ready for an evening of community, celebration, and support as SHAY Foundation hosts its 7th Annual Back to School Bash.

At SHAY Foundation, we believe every child deserves to begin the school year feeling confident, prepared, and encouraged. This special event is designed to bring families together while helping students start the year with the tools and support they need to succeed.

Children will receive backpacks filled with school supplies, and families will have the opportunity to connect with helpful community resources in a welcoming and uplifting environment.
